    Create an automation rule within Assets with the below steps to automatically update objects that weren’t synced to inactive.

    1. Go to your Object Schema Configuration and open the Statuses tab.

    2. Click Create a status, call it Inactive, select the Inactive category and then press Create.

    1. Go back to your Object Schema and do the following for all Users, Groups, Applications and Devices.

    2. Click on the type i.e. Users and select the Attributes tab

    3. In the new attribute box at the bottom of the page, give it a name of State and a type of Status and then press Add

    1. Head back to the Object Schema Configuration and select the Import tab

    2. Press Edit mapping on our import configuration, press the ellipsis (…) on the Object Type and then select Edit object type mapping

    1. Change the setting for Missing objects to Update, select the State attribute and add Inactive as the new value

    2. Finally, change the Threshold Number to 2 (or whatever you prefer) and press Save. This field tells Assets if it was missing for 2 imports, then change the state to inactive
